Having just moved into his new home, Mr Barker wanted to freshen up his living room by removing the outdated “artex” ceiling, and ugly fire surround.

Over two days, Pearwood removed the last of the old mantelpiece to create a new aperture for the client’s wood-burning stove; repaired and replaced the coving where some old pipework, and then prepared and plastered two walls and a ceiling.

The project was handed over with the plaster drying (as shown), almost ready for the client to paint, as per his specifications.
